A number of roads in the Western Division have been closed due to flooding.

The Fiji Roads Authority says these include roads in Tavua, Rakiraki, Ba, Nadi, Sigatoka, and also Lautoka.

The FRA is advising motorists to drive with extreme caution as heavy rain is being experienced in most parts of the country.

Members of the public will need to take alternative routes where possible.
