Fulton Hogan Hiways will be undertaking road upgrade works on the Island of Rabi for the next two months.

The road has deteriorated due to erosion caused by strong waves and spring tides.

FHH will widen the roads, repair five sea-walls, reinstate six wash-outs and clear the drainage.

This will provide better access to Rabi schools, health centers and range of businesses.

Over two thousand people live on the island.
