Amy Street, Holland Street, Selbourne Street and Pratt Street in Suva will be closed around 2 o’clock this afternoon.

This will be done to allow the body of the late archbishop Emeritus Petero Mataca to be taken from Suva Private Hospital to the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

The Fiji Police Force says these streets will also be closed for an hour and will open by 3pm.

Late Mataca will be laid to rest tomorrow.

During the funeral procession Pratt Street and Murray Street in Suva will be closed from 8am until the funeral is complete.
