The RFMF band is gearing up for the 2017 military tattoo and centennial celebration to be held next month.

The Military Tattoo will be a stage for local marching bands to show their skills to the public.

The RFMF plans to recreate something similar to the military tattoo held in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Band leader, Captain Semiti Gade, says their focus is to get their performance perfect.

He adds the band will be taking very minimum engagement this month as they prepare for the historic event.

Captain Gade says they have been performing in the Northern and western division to create awareness on the event.

The event will also feature overseas military bands which the committee is yet to confirm.

The military tattoo will take place on December 8th at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
