“I want to assure you and we’re steadfast. We’re doing everything possible. Despite numerous criticisms. Someone in papers today criticized us for not consulting. Unfortunately to the contrary. This year the amount of consultation and talanoa we did with the stakeholders never before. We are doing consultations and we have an open mind. So anyone, who wants to give us ideas and information, we’re totally open to receiving them and examining them so we can include that in our strategies.”

Dr Reddy says four education forums and thirty-four open discussions were held this year where people have been encouraged to come forward with concerns.

Meanwhile, a new reform will be launched in 2016 to deal with Parental Engagement.
