The Water Authority will be carrying out emergency repairs to another major leakage at its Nagado Water Treatment Plant in Nadi.

Areas affected include Nadi and Lautoka except the Lautoka City Centre and some outer boundaries of Lautoka who are supplied through Buabua and Saru Water Treatment Plant.

WAF General Manager for Customer Services, Sekove Uluinayau says to minimise the disruption over the shutdown period the Authority will have around one hundred and seventy water tanks at strategic locations.

Uluinayau says the Authority will ensure that during this period there is no interruption to the major services such as hospitals, airport, schools and hotels.
