Police are requesting the public’s assistance to locate remand prisoner Gabby Waqa who escaped from the Suva court house yesterday.

Anyone with information is requested to call Crime stoppers on 919.

An investigation is also underway to determine how he escaped from Police custody.

Waqa was in remand for his involvement in aggravated robberies, serious assault and theft of motor vehicle.

The public is reminded that harboring criminals is a crime.
