The Nausori Town Council says it is working with the Fiji Roads Authority in finding a solution for those taxi operators who have been told to move from the old bus stand area.
With development works taking place, the council is in the process of relocating taxi operators.
Nausori Town Council Chief Executive Akhtar Ali while some taxi operators are not happy, they are trying to find the best solution for all.
“We trying our best to address that issue and hopefully we will be able to come up with the best solution for the two taxi operators, the old market site and the Gulam Nabi street site and we should be able to address those issues perhaps this week.”
More than one hundred taxi drivers were told to relocate from their existing base to other places within Nausori town.
