People in the North can expect rehabilitation on the rubbish dumps.

Director Environment – Jope Davetanivalu says the ministry is in the process of submitting budget request to the government for 2013 capital project.

Davetanivalu says rehabilitating the Labasa and Savusavu rubbish dumps is ministry’s one of the capital projects.

This has set a kind of an excellent benchmark on how we rehabilitate the existing rubbish dumps.

Meanwhile the two point seven million dollars rehabilitation project at the Lami rubbish dump has now been completed.
