Registration is vital for Fijians

People will have the full freedom to choose which party, person or policy they want to vote for during the 2014 elections.
Elections Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says all Fijians will have total freedom during elections but to exercise that, it is important that people get registered.
“Which political party you want to vote for, which individual you want to vote for, which policy you want to vote for – that is a choice but in order to exercise that you need to register to vote so it is critical that in the next eight weeks or so all Fijians go out and register”
Sayed-Khaiyum says from tomorrow more registration centres will open.
The elections office will have over 1000 centres around the country to ensure that people living in all areas get registered.
