‘Madame Speaker the honourable member from the other side thinks that the only time we can see things is if it’s tabled here. Everybody has access to the registrar of companies, everybody has access to the Ministry of Finance, they want information, they can write to the Ministry of Finance pertaining any information the Ministry of Finance holds as a shareholder, pertaining to any state-owned enterprise or any enterprise in which Government has a shareholding in. They can get that access Madame Speaker’’.

Sayed-Khaiyum reiterated the importance of MPs asking selected Ministers for information that they may need in order to resolve issues or concerns.
