Redevelopment on Garden City progressing well

The Garden City Business Park along Grantham road in Raiwai, Suva is expected to be completed in the next few months.

The redevelopment work which began in October 2016 sees a three-acre complex being demolished to build a totally new structure.

Garden City Owner Yee Wah Sing says they are investing around $10 million for this project.

Sing says the majority of the work has been completed.

”We’ve made good progress, I think we should be completed by the early second half of this year. I would say we are seventy percent completed have, most of our structural work has been completed and we have got a lot of finishing works to be done, there are certain sections that we are waiting for our current tenants to relocate before we can start work.”

The complex will have sixty-five shops which will include convenience stores, food courts and commercial businesses as well as a trade and exhibition centre.
