Drivers are now being warned that no one can get away with speeding and crossing red lights.

Those caught doing will be fined.

This after the Land Transport Authority invested around $100,000 to bring in speed and red light cameras.

Chief Executive Naisa Tuinaceva says these cameras will also be installed in the main highways.

“Our timeline for this particular project is next week, so our shipment will arrive in two weeks time. Our main aim is to touch on awareness before we enforce this new law."

Naceva adds LTA will also be able to earn revenue with the introduction of the red light and speed cameras.
