The Fiji Red Cross Society has so far used $8 million for post Tropical Cyclone Winston rehabilitation.

Director General, Filipe Nainoca says there are still people out there who need their assistance.

“Our TC Winston appeal is finishing in July, two days ago we met with our partners in a co-ordination meeting to see how Fiji Red Cross can continue to work because the need out there is so great after our appeal ends in July
Nainoca adds the Fiji Red Cross Society has decided to continue its rebuilding works until the end of the year."

These works include community development, water and sanitation upgrades, rain water harvesting, and building of communal and personal toilets in the community.
