Legal action will be taken against RB Patel JetPoint in Nadi for breaching the Food Safety Act 2009 says Health Ministry spokesperson Peni Namotu.

“So we will be taking legal actions in the next couple of day and this legal procedure will determine the penalty that will be given to the supermarket.”

Namotu adds all supermarkets and shops were given a directive at the beginning of the post flood period to confiscate all flood damaged food items.
