The Suva High court has found Rozleen Razia Khan guilty of one count of murder.

In his verdict today, Judge Justice Vincent Perera said he agreed with the unanimous opinion of the three assessors.

The court heard that on May 6th last year, thirty-five-year-old Khan tried to drown her four-year-old daughter by driving her car off the road near Kasavu, Nausori.

When this failed, she then jumped into the Rewa River with the child tied to her.

Defense has requested time to file written mitigation.

The case will be recalled this Thursday for sentence hearing.
