The Sugar Industry Tribunal has given its approval to the Fiji Sugar Corporation and the Sugar Cane Growers Council to end the crushing season for the Rarawai Sugar Mill.

Chetty says if the remaining cane farmers in Ba continue to make consistent cane supply, crushing in Ba is likely to continue until all the cane is crushed.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Sugar Corporation has described the crushing season as a successful one with only the Lautoka Mill still running.
