One of the oldest cemeteries in Nausori is undergoing major reforms.

This year alone more than $50,000 has been spent and more will be pumped to give Raralevu Cemetery a facelift.

Committee President, Ratnesh Bhawan says the cemetery was established in 1943 and since then not much was done to develop it.

He says the current committee members who are mostly businessmen have taken a step forward in improving its infrastructure.

Plans are to make two way driveways and develop the 16 acres of land so that more burial space can be allocated.

The Raralevu cemetery provides burial space to both Christian and Muslim communities and also has provisions for cremation.
