The highly anticipated Rain Project has been officially launched.
The project headed by musician Elena Baravilala will provide a launching platform for Fijis aspiring artists at no cost.
Ten hopeful music artists will be chosen to write, compose and make a music video and have it launched officially with a music concert.
The artists will get exposure on FBC TV television and radio.
“We just wanted to inform business houses and stakeholder and the government houses out there about this project because it is really targeted at young people and development with young people.”
Those between 17 and thirty have the chance to audition on Saturday at the Playhouse at Selbourne Street in Suva.
Baravilala is an award winning artist and was recently named the Artist of the Year during the inaugural FIPRA Music Awards.
