SODELPA Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka has expressed his disappointment about rumors in Labasa that the party is distributing $100 credit to the public this week.

Rabuka apologized to those who are in genuine need and have been misled by these rumors.

He says it is unfortunate that as Fiji is moving towards elections, some people find it useful to spread rumors.

Rabuka adds these incidences are designed to confuse the public and disappoint members of the community.

He says all disaster rehabilitation programs like the ‘CARE For Fiji’ is the responsibility of the Government and its obligation to assist all vulnerable and unfortunate members of the community, particularly those affected by the Tropical Cyclones Josie and Keni.
