SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka was questioned by the Police Criminal Investigations Department in Suva this afternoon.
Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says Rabuka was questioned in relation to comments made during FBC’s Na Vakekeli radio talkback show this week which are alleged to be in breach of the Information Act.
Rabuka was accompanied by his lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo.
Speaking at SODELPA’s last rally in Nausori today before black out period, Rabuka says he was called by the Police at around 8:30 last night where he was requested to be present at the CID headquarters this afternoon for interrogation.
He has also called on his followers and supporters to respect the law.
Meanwhile, Qiliho says they will issue a statement once the interrogation has been completed.
