SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka has promised land security for the Melanesian community in the country.

Speaking at a campaign meeting in Nasinu last night, Rabuka says there have been discussions from past governments on this issue but there has been no outcome in terms of giving the right support that is needed.

Rabuka says Melanesian’s have done their part in the development of our nation and they deserve to be given what they hope for.

“Although they have been classified as Fijians in the old interpretation act, nothing further, nothing concrete has ever been done, now is a great opportunity for us to complete that journey of total integration with our Melanesian brothers.”

The former Prime Minister says SODELPA will ensure that security and stability is paramount for all races in Fiji.
