Rabuka confirms FICAC charges

The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has charged Social Democratic Liberal Party Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka.

Speaking to FBC News after his caution interview, Rabuka says he has been informed that the charges has to do with his declaration of assets and liabilities in 2016 and 2017.

He was taken in for the interview by FICAC this morning.

FICAC says it will not comment on the matter as yet only confirming that he has been questioned.

Party member Lynda Tabuya has told FBC News Rabuka has been charged and will appear in Court this afternoon, which we are still trying to verify.

SODELPA is also expected to comment on the matter later today.
