The Queen’s Baton brought hope, peace and diversity to more than eighty children at the CWM Children’s Ward yesterday.

Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Youth and Sports, Alison Burchell, who received the Baton at the CWM Hospital said the presentation showed the unity of 52 Commonwealth nations.

She added that Fiji’s participation in the milestone event also brought smiles to CWM patients who were unwell or recovering from illness or trauma.
