Ali says while many officers behave professionally and respond well to cases, there is an ongoing problem of gender bias at police stations and often women are denied justice.

Qiliho assured FWCC of ongoing collaboration and improvement in police responses.

Also discussed were provisions for attending to women and girls who were victims of violence during the festive season as there is often an increase in reports during this time.

The Commissioner also assured Ali that officers will be available 24/7 if difficulties are encountered.
