The Fijian Government remains committed to safeguarding natural resources.

Minister for Agriculture Dr. Mahendra Reddy made the comments during the commissioning of the Naveicovatu Vetiver Project yesterday in Tailevu.

Dr. Reddy stressed that Government remained committed to protecting our natural resources, highlighting that the 2013 Fijian Constitution guaranteed this, with legislation in place.

He highlighted that this was being done to ensure that future generations were not deprived and had the opportunity to enjoy the same benefits from the environment and natural resources.
