Figures released by the Fiji Police Force show that 105 people took their own lives between January and November this year compared to 36 for the same period last year.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says most cases are a result of a romantic disputes or family problems.
Naisoro has echoed calls made by Kuruleca, that people, especially families must be more compassionate and recognise when someone is hurting and provide them with all the support they need.
