A vigil to remember the victims of the Sunday Easter bombings in Sri Lanka will be held in Suva today.
The event is being organized by the Pacific Conference of Churches and the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
The public is encouraged to be part of the vigil in solidarity with the Sri Lankan Community in Fiji.
The one-hour vigil will be a time for reflection and prayers for those that lost their lives in the bombings, those injured, their families and the people of Sri Lanka.
The program will include statements from the Sri Lankan community, a message from global partnership for the prevention of armed conflict, prayers from faith communities and a silent reflection.
The vigil will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral at Macarthur Street from 1pm.
