The Public Consultation headed by the Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Jone Usamate ended on a high note.

The consultation was held at the Tikina Dreketi, Lekutu and Navakasiga in Bua.

Some issues raised were mainly on overtime, public holiday pay, workers compensation, national minimum wage, occupational health and safety.

Usamate said they have targets for the consultation and they were able to achieve it.

The villagers took time to attend the public consultation, and also sort clarifications on employment related matters.

The Minister looks forward to another fruitful and productive public consultation next week for the Central and Western Division.
