Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has reminded officers to not let criticism affect the way they deliver services to the people.
Speaking at the Commissioner’s 2nd quarter parade in Labasa yesterday Brigadier General Qiliho mentioned the success of Operation Cavuraka and urged officers to continue with their hard work.
“Don’t be distracted or dishearten by attempts to tarnish the hard work that you are doing. The recent attempts by certain individuals to discredit our work will not deter us and it should give us even more reasons to work harder and prove our critics wrong.”
The Commissioner will be making a public statement on the results of the Force’s Key Performance Indicators for the first half of the year next week.
He believes the Force can do better for the remainder of the year.
