Jitoko carried out investigation at the crime scene on 3rd and 4th November, however, he mentioned about the iron rod in a statement on 14th November 2009.

Ali’s lawyer Abhay Singh said that the photographs of the iron rod was not disclosed to them which according to Jitoko was marked and photographed.

During cross examination he said the photographs were taken, however, the photographic booklet was prepared before 14th November which is why it was not disclosed.

The trial continues before High Court Judge Justice Vincent Perera.
