“We deserve $2 fare because since the year 2000 when minibus legalized since than as of today there is no increase in fare. So basically what I am trying to say that that time the diesel price was 62 cents per liter and the tire was between $60 to $90 and if you can see how the diesel price has increased by three fold and even the tire and the spare part price has also gone up.”

Meanwhile, Transport Minister Jone Usamate had earlier confirmed that the Land Transport Authority is now re-looking at the minibus fare regulation.
