The Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has encouraged all Fijians to be proud of their country and to portray this to the rest of the world.
Sayed-Khaiyum made these comments at the HFC Bank Kula Film Awards 2015 at the Civic Centre last night.
He added that the government is all about pushing the Fiji brand in all aspects of the economy.
We used to have Air Pacific today it’s called Fiji Airways, we used to have Fiji Investment Trade Bureau today we have Investment Fiji, we had Fiji Audio Visual Commission today it’s called Film Fiji. In all of this ladies and gentleman is the promotion of the brand Fiji.
Best Film and Script went to Xavier College for their production titled: “Prank”.
Best Music went to S K Sangam College, Best Cinematography went to Korovuto College and Best Actor went to Nikhal Prasad of Korovuto while best actress went to Jhanvi Kant.
The last night also marked the 10th year that the Film awards have been running in Fiji.
