October 19, 2017 5:20 pm

The quantity of cane crushed this season could be affected due to the on-going dry weather conditions.

Sugar Cane Growers Council, Chief Executive, Sundresh Chetty says while conducting field visitation it was revealed that cane planting has become very difficult.

Chetty says many farming communities don’t have access to drinking water but the Water Authority of Fiji is carting water to all affected areas.
