“It’s all about creating a love for reading among our children – getting them away from television and electronic games to pick up a book and open up the world of knowledge that literature can provide for our young people. I want to fire the imaginations of everyone about what we can achieve with this program. It is an important part of the education revolution now sweeping Fiji.”

The pilot phase of the program will deliver 250 books per school to 330 primary schools.

The remaining 402 will receive their books later.
