A new state of art private medical facility has opened in Suva under MIOT Pacific Hospitals.
The Emergency centre boasts world class facilities with the country’s first 4D high definition CT scanner as well a Heart Revive Centre that aims to be a one stop shop for cardiac conditions.
Managing Director for MIOT International Hospitals Dr. Prithvi Mohandas says this service is a first for Fiji.
“One you had no access to senior staff or good technology round the clock and two it was ridiculously over-priced, right now both those are solved, you have immediate instant access anytime, any day of the week and it is ridiculously under-priced.”
An investment of 18 million dollars, the Cardiac and Accident Emergency Centre promises space age treatment at Stone Age prices with packages ranging from five hundred dollars for a coronary angiogram to twelve thousand dollars for a radial angioplasty.
