Fiji Roads Authority is advising motorists that the Princess Road, Tamavua is being temporarily closed.

The closure is to allow for the removal of a half burnt tree next to the roadside at Colo-I-Suva posing great risks to motorists and pedestrians in the area.

With the exception of emergency cases, motorists are advised to use the Kings Road to avoid disruptions to their travel.

Works are expected to be completed by 3pm and the road reopened.
