Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has held a meeting with the non-resident Ambassador of Israel, Shmuel Ben-Shmuel.

Bainimarama and the Israeli envoy held talks, which included developing the bilateral relations between our two countries.

Ben-Shmuel currently serves as ambassador to Australia and is based in Canberra for his term as non-resident representative to Fiji.

His notable career also include serving as a Political Counsellor in South Africa, Deputy Consul-General in New York, Director of the World Jewish Affairs Department, and Consul-General in Atlanta
