President, Major General Retired Jioji Konrote is appealing for more people to submit nominees to the College of Honour to be considered for national awards.

“The recognition is made across the whole range of human endeavor and achievement, including but not limited to Government and the civil service, local body administration, industry, diplomacy, health, education, law, the arts, sport, religion, the news media, environment, youth development, charity, and indeed, including all other areas in which service to Fiji is identified.”

The deadline for nominations was to end of this month but President Konrote has asked for an extension to allow more nominations including athletes in the 2016 Olympic Games.
