August 24, 2019 1:25 pm

Minister of Education, Heritage and Arts, Rosy Akbar is calling on teachers, parents, school management and students to ensure all preparations are in place for the final academic term.

With major exams to be held this academic term, Akbar is urging students and teachers alike to go through their notes as a refresher before school starts.

“Teachers should have concluded their student free days programme today and be ready to teach from Monday and support students prepare for exams. All school management should have ensured that the classrooms are ready and in good shape to maximize the potential within our students.”

Akbar says parents also play a major role in monitoring and supporting their children to perform their best during this academic term, especially with major examinations coming up.

“For the students sitting for external examinations in Year 12 and 13, revise thoroughly and show us what you can do. I am wishing everyone the very best for the final term ahead.”

The next school term will start on Monday.
