Public Rental Board is planning to build 140 new units in Newtown, Nasinu.

Acting Chair of the Board of Directors of PRB Umarji Musa says this is currently on their drawing board.

Musa says they currently have 1, 636 rented flats.

He says they recently completed new projects in Naqere, Savusavu consisting of 48 units and 36 units in Kalabu, Nasinu.

He says a similar project in Lautoka will consist of 36 units costing $10milllion which is a grant provided by the government.
