20 families in the Public Rental Board flats in Raiwai have been given eviction notices.

PRB Acting General Manager Patrick Veu says that these families are living above the annual income of $25,000.

He says that the threshold for tenancy is below this income.

Veu says two months have been given for these tenants to vacate the property.

He adds that there are another 120 tenants from throughout other PRB flats around the country that have been issued eviction notices for the same reason.

He adds that failure to comply will urge the PRB to take legal action.
