The Methodist Church of Fiji is calling on Methodists in Fiji and around the world to join in prayer for Fiji’s leadership in COP23 which will take place over the next two weeks for COP23.
General Secretary, Rev. Dr Epineri Vakadewavosa says the Church has reaffirmed their support for the Prime Minister as Fiji assumes the presidency of the Conference of Parties.
He is calling for overseas countries to pray and take bold action in rapidly reducing emissions and to have effective facilitative dialogue.
The Church will be represented by Reverend James Bhagwan at the COP23, who has been involved in faith and climate change to work for the last decade.
