Fijians living in parts of Tavua and Rakiraki are currently experiencing power outage due to an accident involving a vehicle which hit an FEA pole at Wairuku, Rakiraki along the Kings highway last night.
FEA Acting Chief Executive, Bobby Naimawi says they have to some extent fixed the damages and restored electricity supply to most of the affected households.
However, the accident has resulted in a broken concrete power pole and damaged line hardware, which will result in prolonged power outage to people in the Wairuku area.
