Power outage expected in parts of Coral Coast

The Fiji Electricity Authority will be carrying out maintenance work on the 33,000 volts in Waqadra-Sabeto in Nadi to the Sigatoka sub-transmission line.

Acting chief executive, Bobby Naimawi, says these work were to be carried out last weekend, however due to the adverse weather conditions, it was postponed.

Repairs will be carried out from 6am to 6pm tomorrow and as a result there will be a power outage.

Areas affected include Waibogi Settlement, Nabou Pine Station, Navutu village, Warwick Resort, Outrigger Resort, Naviti, Intercontinental Hotel, Yatule Resort and Natadola Resort.
