There are 58,000 postal boxes available around the country of which 98% are actively used.

This was revealed by Post Fiji Limited Head of Retail Isaac Mow, during the Asia Pacific Post Cooperative Workshop in Nadi.

Mow says that despite the evolving technology and the high use of e-commerce, people are still actively using Post Offices for services.

“Everyone needs the Post Office basic services whether it be mailing, retail or financial services.”

He says that on an average in Fiji 30,000 people walk into Post Offices daily to use the services.
