Post Fiji upgrades systems

Post Fiji Limited has overhauled its operating systems over the last three years with now more than 80 percent of their 58 post offices able to access online services.

Acting CEO Willie Wong says the upgrades and improvements are in response to the challenges the postal services has faced given the declined use of postal services globally.

“We did a very ambitious task in converting our old systems into new systems, we did three major system changes, one after the other. We kicked off with the point of sale in 2014 and then we also integrated out system with the financial system, we currently using Microsoft now vision and we also change our payroll system.”

Post Fiji can now offer customers more services such as the Water Authority of Fiji’s ‘my Bill Info Card.

The water bill info card can be scanned at any Post Fiji outlet and details of the client’s account will be accessible relaying balance and bill due information.
