December 29, 2015 5:50 pm

Post Fiji is planning to install CCTV cameras in it’s mail sorting office where a parcel containing Methamphetamine was intercepted by customs officials early this month.

Post Fiji Head of Finance Willkiam Wong told FBC News, this will be done to help with part of the process in facilitating transactions that take place in the location.

The illicit drug was concealed in a shampoo bottle sent from the United States and addressed to a local woman.

The suspect fled when questioned by Customs Officers upon collecting the parcel and was later identified through her Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Director CID SSP Kishore Kumar says no charges have been laid yet as investigations are ongoing.
