The Students Discipline Committee of the University of the South Pacific is looking into a possible case of students cheating during semester two examination this year.

This was found out last week for some law courses at USP.

USP Communications manager Ashley Gopal says in line with University’s Policy, the cases will be forwarded for consideration to the Student Discipline Committee (SDC).

Gopal says they will then recommend the appropriate penalties to discipline the students concerned if the SDC finds the case proven.

He adds the University takes cheating seriously, and all efforts are being made to create high ethical standards among students.
