A small financing company, Poseidon Finance began operation in Suva this morning.

Chief executive, Guo Weidong – Gordon says they aim to bring affordable finance opportunities to the Fijian market.

The Chinese owned company’s core function will be to provide loans.

Gordon adds they are also looking at branching out into the mobile and tourism market.

Meanwhile, Fast Jet Rentals, a subsidiary of Poseidon Finance, was also launched today.

Operations for both ventures will be carried out from the Mercury House in Suva.
